At a glance

  • Report your work and contributions honestly.
  • Disclose your interests and protect confidential information.
  • Raise concerns with evidence and allow a fair assessment.

How we assess your concern

  1. You report the concern

Give us the publication or manuscript details and specific supporting evidence.

  2. We assess the information

We check the issue and may request clarification or supporting records.

  3. We seek relevant responses

We invite affected contributors to respond and seek independent input where needed.

  4. We record the outcome

We explain the action and communicate the result where appropriate, respecting confidentiality.

We base our conclusions on evidence, not an allegation alone.

Core Principles

We assess scholarly merit and journal relevance without allowing payment, affiliation or personal influence to determine an outcome. We expect you to report your work honestly, respect contributors and protect confidential information.

If your research involves people, personal data, animals or regulated activities, identify the approvals and consent that apply. Protect participants’ privacy and explain relevant safeguards. Do not invent an approval or disclose identifying information without a proper basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

If you submit as an author

  • Describe your methods, evidence and limitations accurately. Retain supporting material where appropriate and provide it securely when we reasonably request it.
  • Credit sources and contributors. Include everyone who qualifies for authorship, obtain agreement to submission and confirm each author’s contribution. Do not add honorary authors or omit substantive contributors.
  • Disclose related work, interests, funding, permissions and applicable ethical approvals. Do not submit substantially the same work concurrently to another journal.
  • Respond to feedback and tell us promptly if you discover a significant error. Do not invent sources or present generated or manipulated material as genuine evidence.

If you act as an editor

  • Assess scope and scholarly merit fairly. Manage conflicts, protect confidentiality and select competent independent reviewers where review is required.
  • Give clear reasons for decisions and distinguish initial screening from independent peer review.
  • Evaluate integrity concerns on evidence. Give affected contributors a reasonable opportunity to respond and record your decision.

If you review for us

  • Accept only when you have suitable expertise, availability and independence. Disclose conflicts and delays promptly.
  • Provide specific, professional feedback. Recommend citations for relevance, not personal benefit.
  • Keep the work private. Do not contact authors independently, share files without permission or use unpublished findings for your own advantage.

Our responsibilities as publisher

We support editorial independence, maintain submission and publication records, explain our policies and provide a route for concerns. We coordinate justified corrections and other notices. We do not promise acceptance, guaranteed indexing or a favourable assessment in exchange for payment.

Reporting Concerns

Write to info@quillifypub.com if you identify a research-integrity or editorial-conduct concern at any stage. If your complaint concerns the handling editor, state that clearly and request assessment by someone without that conflict.

  • Identify the manuscript or article by its title, journal and Manuscript ID or publication link.
  • Describe the concern precisely and attach relevant passages, source links or documents.
  • Explain your connection to the work and any relevant interest. Give contact details if you want us to seek clarification.

Share sensitive information only through appropriate private correspondence. We limit disclosure to what we need for assessment. We may ask you or the affected contributors for more information. We assess evidence; we do not treat an allegation as a finding.

Recognise and avoid publication misconduct

ConcernWhat we expect from you
Plagiarism and uncredited reuseCredit text, ideas, data and images, including your own reused material. Do not conceal copying through superficial paraphrasing.
Fabrication or falsificationReport genuine findings. Do not create data, manipulate results or omit material evidence to mislead.
Authorship abuseAgree genuine contributions and author order. Do not buy, sell, gift or conceal authorship.
Duplicate or concurrent submissionDisclose related work and do not send substantially the same manuscript to multiple journals at the same time.
Review or citation manipulationDo not impersonate reviewers, conceal conflicts, pressure reviewers or seek irrelevant citations.
Confidentiality and undisclosed interestsProtect unpublished information and disclose relationships that may affect your judgment.
Failure to address errorsTell us about significant mistakes and cooperate with an evidence-based correction process.

We consider the evidence, seriousness and publication stage before acting. We may pause processing, request correction or explanation, decline publication, or issue an appropriate post-publication notice.

Corrections, concerns and retractions

Contact us when you discover an error or receive credible evidence that challenges a publication. We give affected contributors a reasonable opportunity to respond and choose an action proportionate to the findings.

ActionHow we use it
CorrectionWe explain a correctable error when the overall work remains reliable.
Expression of concernWe may alert readers to a material unresolved issue while we assess the evidence.
RetractionWe explain why readers should no longer rely on work affected by serious unreliability, misconduct or another substantiated integrity failure.
Exceptional removalWe assess removal when legal, privacy or serious safety circumstances require it. We retain an explanatory record where appropriate and lawful.

We aim to make notices understandable and connect them to the affected publication. We do not treat an ordinary withdrawal request as a reason to erase the scholarly record.

Raise a complaint or appeal

If you believe we overlooked evidence or applied a policy incorrectly, write to info@quillifypub.com with your Manuscript ID, the decision, specific grounds and supporting material. Distinguish a complaint about conduct from disagreement with scholarly judgment.

We review your grounds and seek independent input if a conflict affects the original handling. We communicate our conclusion and any next action. We do not guarantee a reversed decision or a fixed outcome because you appeal.

Prepare your next step

Review the journal requirements before submitting. For an existing manuscript, follow the actions recorded in your Manuscript Tracker.
